About Valdis Baskirovs
Biography
Hello, my name is Valdis Baskirovs. I am an artist from Latvia. After graduating Art Academy I moved to the deep countryside of Latvia to fulfill my dream to live off of the land experiencing the joy of sustainable living and create art exploring the limits of my imagination. My passion is traditional relief printmaking techniques like linocut and woodcut. I am surrounded by very beautiful landscapes and I am now reconnecting with nature and discovering myself. I like plein air painting very much. Winters are cold here in Latvia so this is a season when I have free time to create printmaking art(wood cut and linocut). I am very happy for this opportunity to showcase and sell my art on Artfinder.
