Mr. Donaldson's unique style doesn't try to emulate other artists. Strong, confident strokes suggest beautiful hidden nuance. The finished piece is amazing, working with ArtFinder has been amazing and we couldn't be more happy! Arrived on time and very securely packed for overses shipping!

I love this piece of work! this is the second piece i have bought, and look forward to purchasing more in the future.... The piece cannot be faulted, its exactly as listed.. :) but the cost of packaging for such a small piece is very expensive and has more than doubled over the last year.

Thank you Dianne, I’m happy you like your drawing. I don’t charge the full DHL shipping costs on any of my works on Artfinder. The full cost of shipping small/medium drawings is £40 and I only charge the customer £25 If in future, yourself or any Artfinder customer would like a cheaper option, can message me, I’ll reimburse some of the costs and ship by normal postal service, but the downside is that it will take between 7-21 days.

Like the picture itself but for me paints splots on the paper not part of the picture cheapens it. Not sure whether I would purchase from art finder again.

I consider the paint splats to be an integral part of my painting process and as such is stated in the artwork description, the paint splats are also clearly visible in the numerous detail pics I include with the artwork. Artfinder don’t decide which artworks are posted, that is my choice. You also had the option to take up Artfinders 14-day return policy.

I was looking to commission a drawing and contacted Thomas with an enquiry. He responded on the same day, was incredibly helpful throughout the process, offered a number of options and completed the order promptly. The drawing arrived in robust packaging and I am extremely pleased with the result. It's gorgeous!

Although the picture is small, its effect is powerful. As I understand it, Thomas is trying to capture something deeper than mere replication of perfection. I am struck by how well he captures the physicality and intense presence of the subject, and how he depicts these qualities with such great skill and feeling.
