The contact and process was very good. The painting was shipped quickly, but the shipment was then held up at Ukrainian customs through no fault of the artist or Artfinder. I was assured twice that the purchase price would not be paid until the artwork arrived. I was then informed that the shipment had been returned to the artist and that I had the option of cancelling the purchase and getting my money back, or having the painting sent to me again. Naturally, I decided to try again and this time everything went well. After 12 days the parcel arrived, perfectly packaged and exactly as I expected. So everything went really well, apart from the "hitch" at customs. But I think this problem can happen from time to time, especially if you are buying art from Ukraine at the moment.

The only reason I gave 4 stars for communication is because I would have loved to known when the painting was mailed otherwise it was a 5 star experience. The painting is beautiful, it came in a timely manner despite what's happening in Ukraine, and all the packaging was incredible. I will buy from Olha again.
