Tashe's work is subtle and pervasive. There is delicasy. Yet, to see these images - this image - is to appreciate a deep resonance. Tashe connects with the feminine mood in all its turns and variations. She is not critical. She is not celebratory. But the sum of her observation is remarkable testimony. Ever more reason why the Ukraine should remain free and self-governing.

Where ever in the room, this fine female looks at you. She is not calling you out. She is not critical of herself. And yet, to be in her presence is to find oneself asking questions of her and so of oneself. She has so much purpose. Another example of Tashe's subtle and remarkable talent. We must never forget to stand by the Ukraine.

The artwork was commissioned from a photograph, the resultant piece is fantastic quality is excellent. There was excellent communication throughout the process from Tashe. Fantastic artist I simply can’t thank Tashe enough!!

Draw close to this image to find a flurry that is almost irreverent. Move back, as this image in the taster, to realise the perspective is subtly achieved, that the eyes follow exactly as Tashe intended. I bought this picture at the outset of the invasion of Ukraine as Western countries were beginning to reach out to this violated country. It seemed we needed hands to be held and to dream of the sunset. Posted in Ukraine early in the conflict, it took time to travel. But travel it did. The sunset sits on my desk as I work, as I write. Tashe's brush work is so precise despite an apparent ease with which she works. Thank you Tashe. Thank you to Ukraine for your fortitude and sacrifice.

My wife writes a diary. Most days, she will sit propped in the bed or at her desk. This capture by Tashe is so typical of a reflective female locating herself and her mind inside the day she finds herself. Interesting, is it not that femina is most reflective without the glam; yet, as Tashe's image illustrates, no feminine appeal is lost. We have other images by Tashe. This sits behind my wife's desk. It has not moved since it arrived, as always, perfectly posted. Tashe is Ukranian. Thank you for Ukraine's resolve on behalf of the free, expressive world.

Today, the 2nd May 2022, a large ship from Spain has landed in Poland. The first use of their military tranport ship by the Spanish. It is full of weaponry including tracked vehicles and missile systems. It seems intended to defend Ukraine in places where there are no longer any invaders. On the way, is a larger American ship, also to arrive in Poland. This includes long range howitzers. The Polish have sent the tanks to you which Ukraine already drives. The British are backfilling Poland with our own tanks, training the Polish army in their use. Even the Germans have sent anti aircraft systems. We have sent land to air missiles which are laser guided so can defeat the heat decoy systems which fail the American Stinger Missiles. These new British missiles can fire on an aircraft as it leaves, not arrives. I know the battle ahead for the regions the invaders have stayed in will be tough. But, the Western Allies are resolute in a way I never thought possible. it looks increasingly likely that Sweden and Finland will join Nato. I don't know if you know, but a couple of weeks ago, Pink Floyd came out of retirement to record with a Ukrainian singer with his rendition of your National Anthem plus some of Floyds iconic guitar. All proceeds direct into Ukraine. What has this to do with Art? Without Art - in what ever form - we humans are empty. Art is our flag, is our hope is our reason. Art enables the human mind to consider itself and others. I find your touch so finely balanced, Tashe. Though inkwash is a simpler medium, the emotion you capture and portray has resonance and depth. Mostly, your subjects are female. I get it that an honest female is also a naked female, whether playing the piano, reading, contemplating with coffee, or making notes - she is still exposing her inner self. So, you chose to picture some of your models naked. Your images are much deeper than simple romantic dreams. I don't know how many women are fighting in Ukraine. I have no objection to that. But, those men who carry arms, the singer accompanying Pink Floyd, an ex banker from Russia whose family is Ukrainan, their souls are naked too. When the conflict is over, I will continue to buy your work as I had started to before. But now, I am content knowing that one refugee family is supported, that you can buy food, can help educate your two boys and possibly pay your way though the combined purchases by art lovers from across the world. One day you should be able to return safely and help Ukraine rebuild. Humanity will be stronger - but I know you feel that too! That's how I feel Tashe. Thank you and your country for being so resolute and for saying no to dictatorship and babarity. Andy
