    I recently sold a painting to a lovely lady in the UK, this is the feedback I was left and am incredibly pleased with ......................... What an amazing experience to buy and receive a beautiful painting by Susan. She went above and beyond in her communication with me and I will treasure her personal touch and extra little touches I 100% recommend buying and interacting with this very lovely woman. The painting was wrapped very well and carefully and delivery was extremely fast. I am now a fan and won't be last time we buy from Susan.

    I was a Professional Singer for over a decade in a 70s Disco Band called Love Machine. We performed all over the UK, Wales and Scotland and did a tour of Bourne Leisure Holiday Parks. We performed at a Charity Event for 'Wish Upon a Star' (Dream making for sick children) at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, where there were stars from Coronation Street and other TV programmes, I was great fun we all wore our sequinned 70's disco outfits and platform boots, singing many 70 Disco Hits and a tribute to Abba

    My Painting Studio

    My Painting Studio

    My studio is a custom built log cabin at the end of my garden with views of the sand dunes and the sea beyond where I spend a lot of my time. I completely lose track of time when I'm in my studio and can often be in there from early in the morning until dusk. I share my space with the family Musician as you can see from the pics so am often listening to a creation of a new musical composition, although I tend to listen and sing-a-long to the radio when on my own. Visitors are welome to visit me in my studio and any artwork purchased through Artfinder can be collected from me, there's always a brew and a biscuit on offer.

    My first creation

    My first creation

    I thought I would share with you my first ever painting. I painting this a long time ago ! I bought my art supplies from Fred Aldous Art & Crafts Store which was in Lever Street, Manchester. I think it might still be there. It was scary as they were very expensive at the time and it was a bit extravagent but I adored painting, and still do to this day This was my first ever creation, it has moved home with me 8 times, and always gets a prominent wall position in our new home, it has great sentimental value I hope you like it x

    A Day in my Studio

    Its been a cold, wet and windy November day, but I've had a fun day in my studio, a cuppa tea, a choccie biscuit or two (maybe 3) a roaring wood burning stove and a fantastic day The first piece i was working on is a 16" x 12" on a winsor and newton canvas which I've named 'Light in the Darkness'. I've mainly used a palette knife and mixed my colours with Golden Heavy Gloss Gel, which gives the colours an amazing gloss effect, the colours I've used on this piece are Bitter Chocolate, Burnt Umber, Metallic Royal Ruby, Metallic Copper, Silver, Gold and Cream. It has a smoky, moody feel to it. I really enjoyed creating this piece I hope you enjoy viewing it as much I i enjoyed painting it. Thanks for looking (and reading) Sue x

    This is my main profile picture and me and my boy Frank, Frank my faithful old Black Lab, who often sits with my in my studio or just outside the french doors If the weather is cold I bring him inside as he has Arthritis. I get lots of inspiration from Frank as the looks of love and contentment he gives me melts my heart and makes me feel happy and joyous which make my creative juices flow
