About Stephanie Peters

  • Biography
Stephanie Peters is a mixed media artist creating bold, colorful works of art in pastels, charcoal, acrylic, graphite, watercolor, oil and mixed media. Her style ranges from vibrant abstracts to soft portraits of wildlife. Her work is inspired by her first hand encounters with wildlife and/or her interest in weather and scientific discoveries.

By traveling to her subjects, Stephanie works from life or uses her own photographs as reference - this sometimes gets her in the most unusual places that make for great stories beyond the canvas, especially when she's moved by the destructive forces of nature like volcanoes and storms!

Stephanie works out of her studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. She has participated in national exhibitions and her work has been featured in various publications.

"My art tells a story to inspire and awaken the imagination and creativity inside each of us. It may be abstract filled with energy, or a portrait of a bunny, quiet and reserved. Each piece is how I see and interpret the beautiful world we live in."
