  • Biography
    I am a Dutch landscape painter, working and living in Westknollendam close to Amsterdam (the Netherlands). I graduated at the Wackers Art Academy (Amsterdam) in 2003. Most of my paintings are made in my studio. These paintings are not a registration of the actual landscape, but impressions of the polder as I see it, creating my own landscapes in a simple way with wide views and refecting clouds in the water of the wetlands. However I also work plein air. This results in more specific paintings showing the local area.
