Thank you for your review. I had this text listed in the description - "The finished painting is coated with a resin varnish for a glossy finish.". I will work to updating the description to be more clear.

these miniature landscapes are superb, look great in a cluster of four ,love the colours and the high gloss used to protect them and deepen and enrich the already stunning colours . The tiny black and white cows in one of the paintings delight me, so well painted , if you appreciate things done on a smaller scale you will love these , am running out of wall space but shall def be purchasing more next year
