I’m drawn to natural pieces of wood that seem to carry a story. Forms with movement, distinctive grain, and shapes that feel alive and expressive without being forced.
The original sculpture made by nature is preserved, refining it just enough to bring it into focus. My goal is to amplify the natural beauty that took decades to grow and years to weather, ensuring the wood’s own history and story remains the strongest voice.
Living and working among the rugged shorelines and forests of the Pacific Northwest continually shapes my perspective and inspires the forms revealed in the wood.
