I create because I’m drawn to the stories already hidden in found pieces of wood, shaped by years of growth, weather, and time. My process is one of careful refinement, bringing what is already present into clearer focus while allowing the natural form and character of the wood to remain the dominant voice. Living and working among the rugged shorelines and ancient forests of the Pacific Northwest continually shapes both my perspective and the materials I choose.
