About Daria Yablon-Soloviova

  • Biography

I am a Ukrainian-born artist living and working in Madrid. I grew up in Donbas, surrounded by strong contrasts of light, land and emotion — this shaped my deep sensitivity to color and atmosphere.

Painting has been my way of understanding life. Whether I work from nature or from memory, I always look for the living energy inside the subject — something honest, intimate and human.

My style blends impressionistic light and color with classical drawing and structure. I love working with oil, pastel and mixed techniques, allowing the painting to breathe and stay alive. Portraits, landscapes and still life are different forms of the same exploration: the connection between the outer world and the inner world.

I believe that art can preserve beauty, compassion and dignity. My works have been shown in international exhibitions and are part of private collections in Europe and North America. Today I continue to develop my voice, creating paintings that speak to both the senses and the soul.
