    Painting a chair

    Painting a chair while on a symposium in Beratzhausen, Bavaria. The idea and aim of the symposium (where we have worked there with handicapped artists) was to transform old pieces of furniture into new art objects. My three pieces were chairs whose new patterns correspond to concrete participants in the symposium. Each chair relates to a certain person.

    This image was taken during an international art residency in the village of Gorna Lipnitsa in Northern Bulgaria. It shows me while painting directly on the blackboard in a classroom that was our studio. The Old School is closed for some years because there are not enough students.
