About Simona Serdiuc

Ever since I have known myself, starting with the family old Smena camera I loved taking photos of nature and landscapes on our family outings. Nature has always been my inspiration for photos, from early mornings before sun rise to sunsets; mountains and the sea; animals and flowers or leaves; trees and water. Photography for me started as a hobby and as I kept getting encouraged by professional photographers during the time when I only owned a 70 euros camera, I started to take it more serious and subscribed to a photography course. I only did the beginners course because the more advanced course implied learning camera settings that my little camera couldn't do. But meanwhile I kept studying online and continued practicing and selling my printed photos at the local fairs which gave me a great boost of confidence. While showing a friend of mine my photos he decided to gift me his old Nikon D80 and that is when my photography took off and new opportunities have opened up for me. I went back and continued with the photography courses, I have participated to the regular photography meetings organised by the teacher. Meanwhile I started making more money both from selling photos, canvases and being paid as a photographer for all the airbnbs in the village where I was living. My friends and acquaintances who saw my photos and knew my passion kept gifting me all kinds of photo equipment and I felt so encouraged and supported. The reason why I intend to sell my photos on ArtFinder platform is because many of my clients and photographers kept telling me that my photography is very much fine art, so I am looking for a more educated clientele who would appreciate it and buy it.
