Firstly my apologies for the delay in providing this review - I had to take on the workload of two colleagues who were unwell, so have been through a very busy period at work.... This artist has a very special quality, and I just love her work (the fact I bought six of her artworks here, and will probably buy several more shortly, is one sign of my enthusiasm for Sharyn's artwork). There is of course a high degree of technical skill in all these artworks, but there is something else beyond that which really attracts me to them, which it is hard to express in words, a kind of atmosphere or spiritual quality which is highly evocative and individual (this shows particularly in the expressions of the faces in the paintings). Sharyn's style is instantly recognizable and very distinct. I feel very happy to have these artworks in my collection.

Hello Martin, wow thank you for this review, this means a lot to me. Figurature work is where my heart is, it allows me to express myself at a deep level and sometimes tell a story.

I have already given a detailed review of another purchase of Sharyn's works, so I'll just add a few more comments here. Most of the artworks I've acquired from Sharyn involve human figures, and I've commented on her very distinct and unusual style with that subject matter. Here Sharyn shows in two of these paintings the ability to produce rich and powerful works involving nature. Both show her fine technical skill, and excellent use of colour, as well as skilful composition. The other painting - 'Woman with veil' - is another striking image, with the characteristic strong emotional and spiritual quality shown in the face.

Hand on heart, we are totally delighted with this painting. The photograph didn't do it justice. It's happy and soulful, and it's being hung in a room overlooking our garden where we feed flocks of wild birds. It's genuinely just right. Thank you. xxx

As soon as I saw this artwork, I was very fascinated. I thought I could walk up the road. The beautiful shadows from the trees were entrancing. The second artwork I purchased, the little girls face was intriguing and fascinating. I fell in love with it instantly.
