Sharyn's work caught my eye when I was just having a look through Artfinder. Her clean figurative shapes and flat colours are appealing as are her directly observed images which despite their surface closeness inhabit a deeper psychological space. Cats are of relational importance in many of the paintings and are both humorous and deeply serious companions to Sharyn's human figures.
