    Studio Update: New Encaustic (Mixed Media) Series

    It's Fall where I live and the leaves have been changing colors for weeks already. Summer feels like it left some time ago and yet, I am still working with bright, joyful and saturated colors. The color palette shift is a trend that may stay with me for awhile. I began a new encaustic series titled Flight Patterns mid July and completed 3 out of the group of works this month. They will be available for purchase soon.

    Last month I was tinkering with what could turn out to be a full blown little birds and small creatures series. The ideas have completely solidified into something I really love working through and the series is a GO!
