    The tiny apprentice

    I'm trying to show my grandson Romeo four years of age how to paint with watercolour outside on a hot summers day this year on the green. It was a very special memory and Romeo just went for it and loved the big brush and paint. The watercolour I created with Romeo is called "Painting poppies with Romeo'.

    I seized this moment I shared with my grandson Romeo only fours years old and showed him some painting techniques and colour mixing .He truly enjoyed it and listened very well .

    This is a studio and gallery situated in a very rustic Saxon hilltop town called Shaftesbury in North Dorset. I have shown some of my artworks in here for over ten years. I'm aloud to teach in the studio and the light and space is wonderful to paint in.

    I want you to see what I see that is why I paint the landscape which is on my doorstep .This is my view of nightfall inbetween dusk and twilight.This is the pink sky over the fields of hay and the old oak tree which is the boundary to North Dorset and Wiltshire.
