I bought Nocturne XI for the eye-popping color, against my husband's objections to abstract art. Surprise! He loves it! The variety of colors in the painting make it suitable to hang absolutely anywhere. The only problem I had with this purchase was that it came bent in several places because the artist made a homemade mailing tube rather than purchasing a sturdier container. I contacted him to let him know about it and was pleased with his response. Most of the wrinkles/bends either were easily pressed out by weight (I squished the painting beneath books) or were covered nicely when I had the painting framed -- just one bit at the top didn't flatten out. I'm fine with that. I still think it looks terrific and I'm thrilled to have this gorgeous painting in my home.

I love the art work. I was however disappointed with the quality of the cardboard its painted on.

This painting is beautiful and looks just like it did online. It's been matted and framed and is now an outstanding addition to my growing art collection. I only gave 4 stars for "delivery and packaging" due to the length of time it took for the painting to arrive, but it was coming from Bulgaria, so the delay is understandable. The packaging was better than another painting I bought from a U.S. artist on artfinder.com which came a complete mess due to improper packaging. Mr. Bojankov is a very talented artist and I am keeping my eye on him for possible future purchases.
