About Ruby Beau
Biography
I'm a British contemporary artist whose work primarily depicts the depth and emotive quality of light. After studying Fine Art at Loughborough University, I now exhibit my work across the UK. From large oil paintings depicting stormy skies, to gentle watercolours showing subtle patterns of light in nature; my work captures the avid attention of many, with pieces in private international collections worldwide.
After my first successful top floor solo show at the Ferrers gallery, I became the Ferrers resident artist, with work continuously on display. My artwork has won awards at various galleries and exhibitions. A memorable show of mine was in September 2018, where I enjoyed a sell out solo show alongside celebrated ceramic artist Blandine Anderson.
