About Rosa Butler

I am a 23 year old illustrator, currently based in Cumbria. My work explores a variety of subjects, often focusing on the human form and its place in 21st century life. My practice is heavily influenced by life drawing as well as reportage drawing, I am also very interested in working with composition and a limited colour palette. Graduating from Camberwell College of Arts, in the midst of corona virus, has lead me to explore a range of mediums that are more accessible from home. Although print making is still a fundamental part of my practice, I have begun experimenting with a range of materials, from embroidery to pencil crayons.
