WOW - "Tempered Forecast", the artwork I purchased from Rory Mitchell, is so full of depth and atmosphere it's like a window's been opened on my wall! He can paint fresh air and character that's weird and wonderful, all pearled with narrative.

Rory's ravishing painting 'Boy conducting a cloud (study)' arrived safely this morning and was well packaged and secure and included a warm note from the artist. The painting itself is utterly entrancing; a miniature masterpiece that is beautiful, thought-provoking and brilliantly-conceived with a fascinating back story and an indefinable 'something' that is both very uplifting and wretchedly sad. I've already written about my passion for, and love of Rory's work as Rory was my curator's choice for February's Artist of the Month, but I have to say that this little gem has now got pride of place in my living-room and will bring me, and countless others who visit my flat, very great pleasure. Huge thanks Rory :o)
