Great painting , soft , muted colours , exactly how I expected it to be . Rob was very easy to deal with & helpful as delivery was held up by a mixture of customs, Christmas , New Year holidays . Wouldn’t hesitate to suggest taking a look at his work .

Rob was a so engaged with us in the process of the commission. He truly cared about making sure that we received exactly what we were looking for, while still keeping in place the integrity of his point of view as the artist. The colors were spot on with the photos he sent us along the way. The detail is very, very engaging in person! It is even more wonderful that I thought that it would. I would not hesitate to do a commission process like this again. It was fascinating, exciting and delivered upon the all the desires! Thank you, Rob!

Rob’s painting is a joy to behold and has place of pride hanging in my living room. What’s more, I had first seen a similar work of his but it was too large for the space where I could hang his work. He offered to do a smaller version similar to the large work and it worked perfectly. It is outstanding. Ron was regularly in communication about the progress of the commission and then the shipping to Australia. The only hiccup at all was that the painting was sent in a wood frame which sets off Customs ‘alarm bells’ in Australia. I failed to think of that or alert Rob so the fault was entirely mine. Yet, when the not inconsiderable duty was assessed against me before the painting could be released to me, Ron offered to reimburse me half the cost of the import duties! I absolutely refused his unbelievable generosity and understanding. Rob van Hoek is a very talented artist - but also a trustworthy, generous person on integrity. When you see his beautiful works, buy them!, You will have no regrets.

It was delivered super fast, the painting were in perfect shape, very well packaged. I received certificates of authenticity, a note from the artist and nice free cards! Super recommended , beautiful paintings !
