This is the fifth painting by Roberto Ponte in our collection. He is incredibly gifted -- able to capture the essence of the scene as much as the details. I feel cold just looking at this stunning depiction of a snowy canal in Amsterdam and am transported back to my several visits to that unique and wonderful city. Thank you, Roberto!

The more of Roberto Ponte's work I see, the bigger fan I become. This charming little piece is -- like all of his work -- lovelier in person than in its photographs. So evocative, so perfect a composition, so clever its technique. This is my fifth purchase of Roberto's and will not be my last.

This painting is perfect for my criteria. That being a view of the Thames, rendered in oil paint. The evening sky in the west nicely portrayed enhancing the view poetically. The size perfect and framed sympathetically. The discount offered by Artfinder was a clincher. Delivered with care and securely packaged.

What an absolutely beautiful picture. It is an incredibly emotional scene for me - wandering about the west end in the gloaming, (full belly!), and away to sit in the dark being transported to a whole different life (if only for a few hours). The frame sets it off perfectly, and it arrived perfectly packaged. I live over 500 miles from here, but every time I look at it I am right back there- so thank you.

I traveled Rome a few times and I love this painting reminds me the amazing archtecture, the Colossum in Sunset.
