Event: Wild Grace
Dates: 31 Oct 2025 - 31 Jan 2026
'Wild Grace' is a collection of expressive female form artworks created in Indian ink — each a study in liberation, emotion, and movement. Through fluid brushwork and open space, the series captures the essence of femininity: strength, softness, and freedom intertwined. Exhibited at Wildflowers Café in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale, these pieces invite stillness and contemplation amid the village’s natural beauty.
Event: Transcendence
Dates: 20 Oct 2025 - 28 Feb 2026
Transcendence is a body of work that traces a journey through strength, transformation, and freedom.
Each painting speaks to the liberation that comes when we release expectation and return to ourselves — to presence, softness, and truth.
Through the feminine form, this exhibition reflects the beauty of authenticity and the quiet power of simply being.
Biography
Welcome to Roberta Heslop Sensual Art — where art becomes a form of liberation.
My work is rooted in a deep belief: that every woman deserves to feel free in her body, proud of her story, and seen without judgement. I paint the female form to challenge the limiting ideals we’ve been taught — and to offer a different lens. One of softness, strength, truth, and self-love.
Each painting is a moment of freedom. I don’t follow rigid plans — I let the process guide me. Sometimes I work with thick oils, building texture and depth until the figure begins to breathe. Other times, I turn to Indian ink and embrace its raw immediacy — a single, committed stroke on white canvas. What’s left out is just as important as what’s shown. Space gives room for interpretation, reflection, and honesty.
My art is about more than aesthetics. It’s about shifting the story — breaking down shame, celebrating the imperfect, and inviting others to feel more at ease in their own skin. I want every curve, every line, to carry the message: you are already enough.
That’s also why I offer commissions. It’s a beautiful, collaborative process — whether I’m working with individuals or couples, we explore what you want to express and how to honour that through colour, form, and energy. These pieces often become deeply personal celebrations of self or love.
Originally from Cape Town, I’ve lived in New Zealand, Japan, and Italy, and now create from my studio in the Lake District, surrounded by nature and family. My work has been shown in the UK and Italy and is collected around the world.
If something in this speaks to you, you’re not alone — and you’re very welcome here.
