I love this painting. It’s a wonderful observation of an ordinary detail that might usually be overlooked, and perfect in its composition and blend of colours. The lighting is especially good – that depiction of bright seaside sunshine and wet shadow. The scene almost leaps from the canvas, particularly by lamplight at night. This is my first purchase from Artfinder. It was the one in my favourites list that I kept coming back to for another look, over a period of several weeks! It arrived well wrapped within a couple of days (UK to UK). The listing had led me to expect it ready framed, which to my surprise it wasn’t, but this was very amicably resolved with Richard – the best reaction a buyer could ever hope for in the event of any problem. We shall enjoy this painting for many years to come. Thank you, Richard!

The painting is stunning and looks perfect in its setting. The colours and texture are beautiful - reminiscent of walks along the river at sunset! It was posted straight away and packaged with great care. Thank you very much, Richard, it is already a treasured item!
