Biography
My name is Margaret Raven and I would love to show you my latest oil works.
I love painting and have been doing it for 30 years. I was born in Poland in 1962. My images have evolved with me.
My first image was as gray as socialism in my country. I love colors very much. When I was growing up, I didn't go to art school, but I graduated from other schools. I am now an economics major. I tried many jobs and professions until I discovered that painting was the only job I truly loved. Since then I have only been painting. This passion helped me go through many changes in my life, it helped me understand myself and people. I took some distance and thought. I still like it - I discover new painting possibilities and I love playing with color.
I made many watercolors depicting my hometown in Poland - Mielec. In the years 1995-1997, my two watercolor albums were published. The inhabitants of my city really liked this art. It was a great satisfaction for me. Many of my works of art were used in Mielec brochures and calendars.
I changed the colors of my works, searching and experimenting. When I bought a meadow outside the city in 2003, my painting positively exploded. The meadow graphic I took from the easel blossomed into my real meadow - a new one every day. I fell in love with my meadow, which I saw at sunrise, in the rain, in the fog, in the morning and in the evening and at any time of the year... I still paint this meadow. This is the main topic of my work.
When I paint, I move to another world. The peace I feel and the joy I use when creating compositions with paints. It's strange and beautiful because I can share this joy with everyone who looks at my photos. The archive of my work on Pinterest contains several thousand photos of my paintings.
The images are original and unique. The author does not create two identical oil works and does not copy other artists. Works of art are subject to copyright. Each print is signed by the artist in the right or left corner and comes with a certified certificate of authenticity.
