    Fruits of social distancing ;)

    It's such a strange and new situation for everyone - these days of self-isolation. I find art and nature to be the two priceless resources to keep me awake and inspired through this. And -looking at it now- It's so interesting to see how all this time of compulsory introspection starts to bring out some surprisingly precious fruits - there seems to be some new quality present in all the recent paintings that I'm very fond of - some kind of inner peace and balance very new to myself. You're welcome to some of these fruits at the gallery! ;)

    New Studio

    New Studio

    I've moved into a new studio this winter - mountainous location, deeper than ever in the nature - very excited about the new directions my work is taking in here - a natural evolution of many elements that have been forming in the recent years. With more space and broader horizon I'm working mostly on midsize/big canvas this season - first pieces already published in my gallery, many new already taking shape and soon to join. Keep an eye!

    I've brought a lot of new impressions and inspirations with me from my recent time into the Skandinavian wilderness. The sketches and projects are now being turned into intricate, nature filled printmaking series and paintings. Keep an eye for new arrivals.

Carpathian mountains is an area I hold particularly dear since discovering them for myself some years ago…

    It's 13 years now that I've lived a life unbound. Dozens of short-term rented appartments, hotel rooms, and once or twice even a tent have been turned to artist's studios. It's a very conscious choice - I find this an unmached way to stay openminded and inspired. I mean, just look at this light!
