    Busy day today working on my latest still life in a traditional realist manner. I cannot get tired of painting grapes: it is so much fun( only painters will understand I suppose:) It is going to be up for sale very soon, if you are interested in buying it send me a message. Phil

    Working on my crazy ice-cream series :)

    Sitting at my easel in my living-room / studio by the fireplace. I am currently working on a junk food series including soft ice-creams (we call them "glace italienne" here in France, I supposed they were invented there). I am looking forward to the day I will have a proper studio ( northern lights and all)... OK, I just checked wikipedia and this type of ice-cream was invented in the US in the 1930s, especially by a man named Tom Carvel ( apparently even Mrs Thatcher was involved in improving the formula in the 1950s).
