Lovely - Just a shame it didn't quite fit a standard square frame size - over by a millimeter or two on the horizontal and vertical. Seems excessive to need to custom frame or unfortunate to guillotine the edges

I am sorry to hear that your print wasn't a fit for your frame. I try to ensure all my prints fit a standard size so to avoid the expense of custom framing. If you could let me know if it is the dimensions of the image its self or the border surrounding then I will help resolve the problem. ~ Peter

I wanted an 18birthday present and liked some of Pete's work, but couldn't find the right thing. He made some suggestions, which were spot on, and delivered a very personalised gift. Comms were excellent except for one thing - I challenged him to come up with something based on spirals for a second present, but got no response. It obviously didn't float his boat!

After rereading the conversation thread with the customer I could see exactly where I had slipped up. I had indeed failed to respond to the second request and I quickly apologised for this lapse. I endeavor to respond to all enquiries, even if it is something I myself are unable to realise. The piece that was commissioned was a wonderful piece to work on and I very much hope it was well received.

Good afternoon, Peter. The Austen book artwork was exactly as described, and my wife said she was delighted with it when I gave it to her a couple of days ago. Brownie points for me. Today we were out looking for a suitable frame, and she let slip that the books are "in the wrong order". Who knew? When we got home, I checked with her copies on the shelf, and sure enough, the picture doesn't match the order in which the novels were written, which is the order that any lover of Jane Austen's work has them displayed. Apparently. We've been married for 46 years, and I've been looking at the copies for 45, but it was news to me. It isn't something readers of Len Deighton and Flashman bother with. I understand that some titles will be more aesthetically pleasing on some spines than others, but I pass this on to you in case you may decide to shuffle the order. All good things, Robert Lee
