    Another in the ongoing Liberty series, the tenth! Here just sketched out in paint directly onto the white canvas, cobalt blue for those that want to know which colour I've used. In a day or two the whole canvas will be covered in a base colour. Which will form the preliminary coat for the under-painting. Not the biggest canvas in the series at 32 x 48 inches.

    Here's the latest in the TRANQUILLITY series, a rather large 48 x 80 inch gallery wrapped canvas. Got quite a long way to go yet - particularly with the small brushes that I use! This is the only canvas that I'm working on currently and my aim is to have it finished in time for my exhibition towards the end of September. Fingers crossed.

    Here's an update on the latest in the LIBERTY series, a 43 x 67 inch canvas - so very nearly life size! At this stage most of the figure is well underway but the water and the pebbles have a long way to go. Hopefully completed by the end of June.

    Here the under-painting of the fish is almost complete. The colours are established but another layer of painting will add the detail. That will take a couple of weeks of painting but can't be started until the under-painting is properly dry.
