Very nice painting but not sold unframed as per description. It came in a very unsuitable unpolished wooden frame which I am going to have to get removed and I am not sure how to do this without damaging the picture.

Ms. Murphy has an eye for the commonplace that is unusual as a pictorial study, like toilet paper. Also a bit of wry humor and devilishness to be expected from An Irish lass who has a touch of the poet in her soul. It shows in her work and will be part of your life if her work is in your collection. Here's a parlor game for you: name that painting in five words or fewer.

Thank you Bob for the lovely positive review. It was nice to think of that painting making its way all the way across the Atlantic and then on to California; where it now has I am sure a wonderful home. A delightful little oil painting which, for me, stood out from the crowd and looks lovely in my small apartment. The painting arrived well packaged and Orlagh kept in touch with me regarding delivery. Thank you Orlagh.
