Biography
SELECTED ARTIST ON THE LONDON ART BIENNALE 2025
As an abstract expressionism artist based between Cyprus and Ireland, I explore the emotional and philosophical aspects of human experience through bold colour, expressive composition, and an intuitive creative process. My work has been exhibited internationally — including at the London Art Biennale, Art Source Dublin, Worldcatching (Bologna), and major art fairs in Ireland and Cyprus. I am a resident artist at Art&Shock Gallery, Cyprus, and my paintings have received multiple international awards.
I create abstract expressionist paintings that explore the deep currents of human emotion - the search for happiness, the tension between light and shadow, the longing for connection, and the timeless questions of life and death. My work blends reality with imagination, drawing from philosophy, nature, and mythology to evoke both personal and universal experiences.
Through bold brushstrokes, dynamic textures, and vibrant colors, I aim to capture the unspoken - feelings we all sense but cannot always articulate. My creative process is intuitive and reflective: I do not impose a plan on the canvas, but rather allow each painting to emerge organically, as if revealing a hidden truth.
Born in sunlit Uzbekistan and now living in Cyprus, I am a member of the Association of Mediterranean Artists (AMA), Visual Artists Ireland (VAI), and the Visual Artists Association (VAA). My works have been exhibited in solo and group shows across Europe, and received international awards. I am a resident artist at Art&Shock Gallery, Cyprus.
My goal is to invite viewers to pause, reflect, and feel. Each painting is an open door - walk through it, and you may discover a piece of your own story within.
