A moment in the creative process whilst working on the abstract painting ‘Spirit of the Ocean’.

This abstract painting is created intuitively, through the gradual layering of colours, textures and brushstrokes. ‘Spirit of the Ocean’ thus comes across not merely as a depiction of the ocean, but rather as a capture of its pulsating energy, power and constant movement. The striking organic lines and net-like structures are reminiscent of corals, underwater plants, the flow of water or light penetrating deep beneath the surface. The centre of the painting is brimming with movement and light, whilst the edges appear calmer, creating the impression that the viewer is gradually being drawn into the underwater world.

    Harmony of opposites

I am working on a painting called "Harmony of Opposites." Dynamic strokes and splashes of pink and red, intertwined with blue, green, and yellow areas on a black background, create the impression of intense internal movement. Two opposites—hot and cold—blend together and create an explosion of energy.

    New Wave

I am working on a painting in my studio called New Wave. The composition depicts an energetic explosion or a natural phenomenon, such as a water current or wind. The colors blend together and give this painting energy.
