About Philip Levine

I absolutely love painting the figure and have done numerous series all based on the figure including mythological, religious, and historical paintings, Civil War scenes, imaginary and invented scenes using images from Van Gogh, Hopper, Picasso, and others; boxing (I used to box), street scenes of Greenwich VIlage, political paintings (25 paintings expressing disdain for the 45th president).
