  • Biography
    Hello, we are Barbara and Maciej, a couple of award-winning photographers, visual artists and travellers. Born, grew up and graduated from universities in Poland. Currently based in southern Germany for 25 years. We have a long experience in aerial photography. The view of the Earth from above has always fascinated us. Already at the age of 17, Maciej took his camera on almost every flight when he started flying gliders, then planes in Poland and later in Germany. Currently we also take photos from a drone. Our other photographic interests are broad ranging. As documentary and travel photographers we visited over 60 countries and 16 states in the USA. We are heavily influenced by America with its unique aesthetics. Our editorial photos have been published internationally in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, The Guardian, Conde Nast Traveller, Grazia, Lonely Planet, Forbes etc. We have won international awards and last year received the title IPA 2023 Nature Photographer of the Year in New York. Our winning photographs are exhibited at exhibitions in various cities around the world. We are also the authors of cover photos of books by many famous writers like Zoe Valdes, Pierre Lemaitre, Jeffrey Archer, Isaac Asimov or awarded with a 2019 Nobel Prize "Os Vagantes" by Olga Tokarczuk. Our artworks are in privat collections in the USA, Canada and Europe.
