So glad that you like your painting and happy to think of it in it's new home! I will be exhibiting in Woodbridge end of November at Artspace Contemporary Gallery. Do let me know if you're interested in coming to a Private View. I am in the throes of designing textiles with my painting, so some new items to see. All the best and enjoy your paintings! Nicola

That was my first order from ArtFinder. I was greatly disappointed after receiving it yesterday. Firstly, the measurement of actual picture is 20cm x 29cm, the red broader is 7cm x 7cm (see attached photo). If you compare with the size in my confirmation order as described: This artwork is sold framed 35 × 44 × 1 cm (framed) / 25 × 34 cm (unframed). The actual that I received is very small. Secondly, when I look at it, it is really like a print and not an actual painting.

SUBJECT: YOUR PAINTING Dear Chiang, I was disappointed to read that you are unhappy with your painting. If there was an error in the sizing I apologise. However, the description of the painting does state quite clearly that the style is detailed and miniature, even the size of the butterflies are mentioned (see below). The hand-painted border took many, many hours of work. I have also described how I paint, the methods I use etc. and this painting I believe is testament to that skill. I am very keen to put this right, and if you would like to exchange the painting for another, I am happy to oblige. Most of my newer work is quite a bit larger in scale and do not feature on Artfinder right now. However, please look at my website where you will find my newer work and let me know what you think. I do not understand your accusation that the painting is a print and not an original, I'd appreciate it if you could explain what you mean since I only sell original art works. I have never received any complaints of my work, quite the reverse, so I would like to rectify this unfortunate situation as soon as possible. Thank you, Nicola Artist's description: The image of a butterfly in China symbolises beauty, elegance and long life. The image of the butterfly can be altered to create additional meaning. For example, a pair of butterflies tells of young love and the bond between lovers. This painting demonstrates a high level of skill in painting the detail on the butterflies, which are less than a centimetre. It took many, many hours of concentration. I hope it has paid off! The painting also features an intricate hand painted border.
