Am absolutely delighted with this drawing. It is meticulously drawn and the bird's eyes transfix you with its stare. I purchased this picture as it made me smile and I am so pleased I bought it.

Mr: Vedernikov: I want to thank you for the beautiful AIREDALE that I acquired from you, through Artfinder. I marvel at the almost photo realism you captured in this small piece. The expression is priceless, of course, and irresistable. Your other works speak to me as well, save the photographs, which I rather can take myself. And there is nothing like an artist's rendering of what he sees. It is magical, no? You have a great talent, and I hope too, that one day you can create larger works, in landscape and other paintings/pastel. Oil is my personal love, but your pastel work is awe inspiring. Just one thing....the artist failed to apply fixative on the pastel drawing and then protected it with a plastic film. Unfortunately much of the pigment got lifted from the paper to the film. Just thought he should know. Artists fixative is pricey but hairspray does just the same job.

Thanks for the feedback, I do not use fixative as it spoils the work (makes it darker and can be spotted), the amount of the pigment in the film is very small, the picture will not lose in the details
