  • Biography
In a nutshell, I paint because the hours fly by when I'm painting. Painting was a consistent part of my childhood, and then before I knew it a couple of other careers seem to get in my way. At a real low point in my life I turned to a paintbrush to help me find my way. I may not have found all the answers, but the fascinating thing is I stopped asking the questions. Painting gives me serenity (when I'm not annoyed at my work!) and the thought of my art receiving appreciation fills me with total satisfaction and joy.

Personally, I enjoy the smaller details in life. Whether it be the beautiful wrapping on a gift, the exquisitely decorated and packaged petit fours or the carefully chosen original artwork in your home. These are examples of things I get particularly excited about and things I feel make the difference in your day!

My artistic inspirations change regularly whilst I continue to explore new styles and techniques. Although the two artists that I continue to return to in pure admiration and excitement are Henry Matisse and Voka and British artist Michael Smith has definitely captured my attention with his realistic works.
