Biography
In my work, I explore the deep connections between nature and man, turning to the natural world as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. The main means of my artistic expression are painting, graphics and calligraphy. I work in various techniques, including watercolor, ink, colored graphite pencils, and charcoal.
My work has 2 key directions - accurate botanical illustrations and abstract works. The process of creating each work is an inspiration for me. Botanical painting accurately reproduces the structure and color of the plant. Abstract works give free rein to my imagination, and I draw imaginary flowers and plants that live in me and my imagination.
I am a watercolorist, graphic artist, calligrapher, member of SBA, SUBA, ABA and work in various techniques, including watercolor, ink, colored and graphite pencils, as well as charcoal.
Over the past 10 years, I have painted over 3,000 works. Many of them are in private collections in America, Germany, Great Britain, France, Denmark and Ukraine.
