If you're considering commissioning a painting from Monika Jones...DO IT! I purchased a fantastic watercolour from her and really wanted a second piece to go with it. Monika asked what I was looking for then took my vague idea and brought it to life. She painted two complete works and made it clear that I was under no obligation to buy either one if they didn't suit me. Both were so good, however, that I had a hard time deciding between the two. And when I say she brought my idea to life, I mean it almost literally. She has such skill with atmosphere and vibe, colour and detail, that I can't look at the people in the paintings without wanting to get in there and stroll right alongside them. Thank you, Monika! So lucky that some people follow their dream. I love making a little wave to that end. I love her interpretation of strength and future. But that's my thinking, everyones is individual.
