About Mila Romans

  • Biography

In my recent practice, I am developing my own "eclectic" artistic language which allows me to convey my truth about the complexity of internal and external worlds of human existence and identity in the digital era of globalization. Although my approach is mainly intuitive, I am inspired not only by old and contemporary masters but also by science, human behaviour, and nature. I am passionate about experimenting, blending disciplines and techniques.

I combine an application of transparent fluid paint with sculpturing 3d, “found materials” as a way of exploring concepts of life dualities, organic, non-organic, life and death, shadow, and light. I also examine body and mind connections within the triangle of, identity, environment, and change.
