I had been looking at this painting for quite some time before I decided I could afford it. I was sure someone else would buy it because it glows with colour but I bought it for my birthday and I am very happy!

Martine IAnne Martin - fossilized sculpture in silver.. love this artist's work. It is so imaginative and unique. I like the fact that colours change according to where it is displayed. To my mind somewhere where light can catch the multi hues that are exposed by light and sun I will therefore choose an appropriate area to show these attributes to the full.

Maxine Anne Martin sculpture of Zebra on zebra crossing. This was the first piece of Msxine's delightful work that I purchased. I must admit the initial black and white theme appealed to me as I am decorating a special area using this scheme. However this aspect soon retreated to the background as the overall sculture became so awe-inspiring. Simply loved the fact that it was a Zebra crossing it's own personally named method of path, it made me laugh and I hope others will see the ambiguous theme too. Then it reminded me of the Beetles doing the self same thing which is synonymous with that period. So a great talking point all round which is exactly what I wanted for my chosen area. I think Martine has been extremely clever and imaginative in her portrayal of the Zebra and the finished piece is excellent

It is always good to know what first appealed to the collector about a piece, and it seems that the 'Zebra Crossing' made you smile and suited your space perfectly. I'm so pleased with this artwork.... Looks just as listed and brings my wall to life! A great piece, simple and so effective! It also suits so many areas of the house...so win win! The package arrived expertly wrapped and in good shape. Communication with the artist was fine. I feel that the art, beautiful as it is, looked a little bit better online, but I'm still enjoying having it in my office.

I think that all paintings look bigger online, they seem to give that impression somehow, maybe this is what you were seeing, as I thought the picture online was a fair representation of the painting. Beautiful work by Maxine. I purchased the seascape for my other half, he loved it! The painting is so calm to watch. High quality. I also go the fairy garden as Christmas present for my daughter, lovely colours and brings up a warmth. I will be looking for more paintings from Maxine...I ordered both on a Sunday evening and arrived Tuesday morning, very please with so rapid delivery.
