    I’m a visual artist and poet exploring the dialogue between the visible and the invisible. In this photograph, I’m painting in my atelier — my space of calm and silence. I usually paint at dawn or early morning; those quiet hours inspire me the most. My four dogs and two cats often keep me company, their presence bringing me the serenity I need to create.

    Between Memory and Dream – The Art of Maurizio Valch

    Hello, I’m Maurizio Valch, a visual artist, poet, and designer. My work blends surrealism and minimalism, exploring the dialogue between the visible and the invisible. I paint symbolic and dreamlike landscapes — spaces where silence, memory, and imagination meet. In this video, I share part of my creative journey. I paint dreamlike scenes filled with recurring symbols: ascending stairways leading to the invisible, fish skeletons resting on the sand, trees bearing eyes as fruit, and portals that open toward the unknown. My paintings are born from silence — from the wish to understand what lies between memory and dream.
