    For me painting is an exciting journey with many breathless moments, high and lows as something new emerges. It is an anticipation of the past, present and future intertwined. A taste of something other. My work is stimulated by the natural world, travel and colour. As a child I grew up by the sea so my mind is yearns for those big skies, seas and rocks. I am also captivated by mountain views especially from travels in China and closer to home.
