    Look at those wonderful pastel sticks! Now you understand why I paint every single day just to play with them !!! I am a happy painter in my studio! I enjoy painting my surrounding, and my aim is to show how beautiful usual objects can be, as long as you look at them with new eyes. Beauty is everywhere, it's my artist's job to reveal it .

    at my easel

    This is the place where I am, every single day, in front of my easel. I use to paint mostly with dry pastels, any brand from very hard to the softer ones. My favorite are Terry Ludwig, Unison, Girault, and of course Schmincke for highlights. Paper used are Canson mi-teintes or Canson mi-teintes Touch, with a grid. I also use to prepare paper boards with pastel primers. I never use fixative as I feel it changes colours and destroys pastel's brightness. A big kick at the back of my painting to remove extra dust, and it's done!
