Yet again a beautiful linocut, true to the photo on the website. In addition, Mariann added to the package some postcards of her linocuts and a lovely bookmark which was immediately put into use. Thank you Mariann. I know I shall be ordering more of your work!

My amazing new Linocut arrived a little delayed (courtesy to the Australian post). I love the Artwork, it looks even better than on screen as the colours are much more vibrant. Mariann was super helpful and answered my questions very swiftly. It's the first time I bought on Artfinder and will definitely be back for more!

how wonderful that your nest arrived, and yes, it was a bit slow! I am so glad you like it, and is that not true, that linocuts and printmaking in general looks so much better in life than on photographs as they are anything but flat. I absolutely LOVE this piece, and it is just as I imagined. I found the perfect place for it above the door in my living room, and it makes me happy every day! All my communications and packages were lovely, I can't wait to buy another art work!

A really charismatic piece - just in for framing and then heading for the coast where it will take a prominent position in a seaside flat - a sort of homage to the channel! Great artist and a really cool lady too by her communication - delivery super quick via Danish post - wish it was like that in the UK! - and arrived safe and sound as it had been packed with care and consideration - the listing accuracy was spot on - I really love this piece

I have become a huge fan of linocuts, especially when so many color layers are used. And, I really love Mariann's choice of subject matter.

I love the layering too, it can be tricky to photograph so it shows precisely but I do my very best to take accurate photos! Packing is best of all artwork received from Artfinder. Mariann knows what can go wrong in shipment and has taken precautions to defend from them.

The blue fish ("The Unsuspecting One") does not look like torn paper. The little fish jumps out of the water at you (trying to escape?).

Dearest Alan, I am so happy you gave me 5 stars for this order... and I do agree, the torn paper fish looks almost like leather work, I chose a painting to "tear" up to make the head and fins, and the body is metal foil, and he sure is, trying to escape... poor little thing, but that's life!
