Thank you for the review. I posted it pronto 1st class tracked, and it was packaged well, I thought, but I only got four stars for "Delivery and packaging". Please let me know what I can do to improve! Really pleased you are happy with the print - hope your cat-loving friend loves it too!

I am very happy with the piece, it is beautiful, complete with a few charcoal smudges perhaps from the artist's hand while drawing it. It was well protected and perfectly packaged.

The pastel had a lovely depth of colour and the simple nude outline was just what I was looking for .... very simple but clear and light. This was my first purchase of a piece of art and I'm now in search of a frame worthy of the piece. Thank you for the work - it is lovely and I am really enjoying jst having it propped on the mantlepiece at the moment! With candlelight it looks lovely.

I'm delighted that my drawing is your first venture into art collection and that you are so happy with your purchase. Thank you for all the stars - though I'm don't know why I dropped a star on "Seller communication"... You may be better taking the drawing to a framer, who would help you choose the right frame - framing is not necessarily expensive!

I'm thrilled with your response! I met the little chap on a hillside in La Gomera in May this year and just had to paint him as soon as I got back to the studio, and it's great that you feel so happy to have him in your home!

The painting is vibrant and a wonderful conversation piece, the artist was lovely to deal with, and I'm very happy in general. But, I would not buy a painting that had to be removed from its frame and rolled to ship, again. It just didn't work. There was some minor damage - a couple small scratches and some folds - and because the canvas was trimmed after being fitted to its frame, it could not be restretched to the same depth. Shortly after I purchased this painting, I bought another from England; it was shipped double-wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed. I would highly recommend that method, instead. However, that is my only problem. The painting is brilliant, I absolutely love it, and I highly recommend the artist.

I am really disappointed that the painting was damaged. I have shipped paintings packed in the same way in the past (one that springs to mind went to Tasmania) and have not had any problems. However, I will definitely change my approach and discuss packaging with future purchasers to see the method they prefer. However, the client's comments about the painting and dealing with me are very positive so I'm getting that part right!
