Louise' work is very attractive. A delightful subject. However, I think she is careless about the quality of paper the linocut is transferred to. It is flimsy and somewhat crumpled. I have ongoing issues about this. Please see exchange of correspondence with your Emily Sparshott. In all the time I have been buying from Artfinder, this is my first complaint. Fae Winn

I consider this review unwarranted on a number of counts. Firstly, in your initial contact you did not mention damage caused by the packaging, simply that the print was “untidy” and one corner “crumpled”. I took this to mean that the edges of the paper were not all cut but accepted that one corner was “crumpled”, and explained that the print was on a large piece of paper so that the buyer could decide to cut it to the size and orientation they wished, so the edges would be cut off or at the very least hidden by a mount. I have not been party to any correspondence with Artfinder so cannot “see” this exchange of correspondence. On Thursday, when you informed me you had been in discussion with Artfinder, I immediately asked them for information but their office was shut and will not open until tomorrow (Tuesday). As you can see from my other reviews, I have sold a lot of work on Artfinder, and other buyers rate the quality of my work and the associated packaging etc. very highly. I also feel that it is unfair to write a public review while the issue is unresolved.

Very talented artist. I was extremely pleased with the picture. Amazing use of light and colour. Excellent communication, I was well informed at all stages of the process. The picture was very well packaged and quickly dispatched.
