  • Biography

    Louisa Corr was born in 1988 in North West Germany, and in her late teenage years moved to a very different life in Doha, Qatar before gaining a Bachelor arts degree at Leeds University in 2010. Louisa's passion for painting began to grow together with her desire to explore the differences in cultures, people and ways of living and took a year to live in a natural environment from Vancouver to Banff, Canada. Currently, Louisa resides in North London gaining confidence and belief in her ideas and creativity everyday. These unique experiences of such great diversity in a short period of time has had a profound affect on the artwork she creates.

    Pintar Rapido originates from Spain, meaning “painting quickly” and is an exciting weekend celebration of painting, art and the London cityscape.

    Venue: Otantic Restaurant and Cafe, 279A Green Lanes, London, N4 2EX

    The Otantic cafe currently has on display artworks including 5 of my recent paintings. If you get a chance, come down and take a look and enjoy some delicious English/Turkish food and drink.

    Venue: Doha College, P.O. Box: 5404, Doha, Qatar

    During the year 2006, I lived and worked in Doha, Qatar. I spent many days painting the mosques, minarets and religious buildings. I sold many of these paintings in my exhibition in Doha.
