    Many people forget that P&P includes the time and effort spent packaging customers orders. Step 8 - Yes! Finally!! the final step!! I want to make sure the courier or postie makes NO mistakes that this package is fragile and needs to be handled with care! It is unfortunate sometimes, even going through all these steps things can get damaged. I am lucky (touch wood) that I have not had any breakages, though I have had close calls! I do what I can to make sure my precious work arrives to my customer safely in excellent condition. When I place it into the hands of the courier it is out of my control which is a horrible feeling. When you receive one of my packages, make yourself a cup of tea and take your time opening it.... and don't throw that packaging away just yet... Don't forget, if you decide the work just isn't for you, that's okay, it happens, but please repackage it with care and attention. Thanks Liz McDonough

    Many people forget that P&P includes the time and effort spent packaging customers orders. Step 7 - Every part of the package has to be taped from corner to corner so that it is watertight and so the cardboard can't be snagged on anything.

    Many people forget that P&P includes the time and effort spent packaging customers orders. Step 5 - Wrapping cardboard around the item can be time consuming as I am a perfectionist! Placing extra cardboard at the bottom and top for better protection and then cutting the sides which wrap inside and slot in making it solid and compact.

    Many people forget that P&P includes the time and effort spent packaging customers orders. Step 4 - To give extra strength and protection I tape the corners and cross over to each side. In my experience I have received packages that have had their outer cardboard pierced by something sharp, this helps to avoid anything piercing through, If I was packaging a canvas instead of a solid frame this would be even more important.

    Many people forget that P&P includes the time and effort spent packaging customers orders. Step 1 - Here is an example of 3 of my Framed Art Specimens being packaged. Each individual piece has been wrapped with shrink wrap. As there is glass I take extra care. I use foam wrapping in front of the glass and then place cardboard in between the pieces.... Then I wrap them all together so they are secure.
